The Medensan Creation Charter asserts that everyone has an ethinic home.  Ethnic homes bestow nationalities, heritages, names, cultures and belonging on people.

Ethnic homes are usually nations. In some cases ethnic homes are tribes. The ethnic homes of some displaced persons are rooted in their memories and rituals.

We, the descendants of African persons who were enslaved in the Americas, have founded MEDENSA, 
our new ethnic home in the form of a symbolic nation.  

Our ethnic home is symbolic. It exists in our need to belong. It also endows us with identity, heritage and culture.
